This is the thinnest guide on the site, and the thinness is the finding. The open map holds a scatter of named marinas on the northeast coast and the Avalon, one on the south coast, none within two hours of Deer Lake, and a further set of marina shapes that nobody has named. A harbour with no name tag cannot be listed here, and the town that calls itself the gateway to Notre Dame Bay has no marina tag at all.
So the page does two honest things. It puts every named harbour the map holds against both doors, with the drive measured, and it gives the straight-line distance to each harbour’s nearest neighbours as the floor of any passage between them. It draws no passage, states no depth, and links the chart, the forecast, the notices and the harbour authorities instead. The rest is the contributor ask: name the marinas on the map, and the page fills itself.

Glovertown Marina
The nearest named marina to the Gander door on the map, at the head of Bonavista Bay beside the Terra Nova route. The map records a yacht club as its operator and nothing about berths, fuel or a season; the club's own channels carry those.

Twillingate Marina
Mapped as a marina in the seamark scheme, in the harbour the Twillingate route ends beside. It is the northernmost named marina on the island's map and the nearest one to the iceberg coast.

Greenspond Harbour
A harbour, not a marina: the map tags the island town's working harbour and no marina facilities. The Greenspond route ends in the town.

Trinity marina

The one named marina on the south coast's map, in Bay d'Espoir at Miawpukek. Nearer Gander than Deer Lake by road, and a long way from either; the St. Alban's route runs the same road most of the way.

Questions people actually ask
Can this site give me a sailing route?＋
No. A passage is chosen against the chart, the tide, the forecast and the boat, and no open data lets a website draw one without pretending to seamanship it does not have. This page gives the nodes and the straight-line distances between them, which is the floor of any passage and the end of what can be measured from a desk.
Can I contribute a passage I have sailed?＋
That is the plan, and it is not live yet. The shape is the same as the walked and ridden tracks: the original GPX from the boat, checked against its own timestamps and a boat's speeds, every point over water, both ends at a harbour the map holds, trimmed to the harbour mouths. The page would then say one boat's recorded line on one day, harbour to harbour, and never call it a route. Send one anyway and it waits for the verifier.
Why is the west coast empty?＋
Because the open map has no named marina within two hours of the Deer Lake door. The unnamed marinas counted above are the likeliest reason: a mapped shape with no name tag cannot be listed, and several of them sit on the west and south coasts. Naming them fixes this page.
Where is Lewisporte?＋
Not tagged as a marina in OpenStreetMap at all, as of the date on this page, so not here. This site shows what the map holds and adds nothing to it by hand; the day a mapper tags the marina, the next build lists it.
