What we do not know about this place
None of the following is in any open dataset, and every one of them decides whether somebody makes the trip. If you know, tell us and it goes on the page with the date you told us — credited as local knowledge, not by name. We do not put contributors' names on venue facts:
- Are the stands heated? The single most asked question about a Newfoundland rink in February, and it is published nowhere.
- Accessibility Level entry, an accessible washroom, somewhere a wheelchair can actually watch from, and how far the parking is.
- Seating How many, and benches or buckets.
- Canteen Whether there is one, and whether it is cash only.
- The story Who built it, what it replaced, whose name is on it and why. Every rink on this island has one and almost none of them are written down.
- Whether we have the town right. It is derived from the nearest settlement on the open map, not from a source that says so — and around a bay that is exactly the kind of thing a map gets wrong and a local gets right.

- Not open hours. We hold none, for anywhere.

Not every entry here is confirmed. 5 of 30 here are confirmed by two independent maps agreeing to within 150 m; the rest exist in one source only, so we list them with their address but will not map-pin or navigate to a point nobody has checked. One source means exactly that — the name, the position and in one case tonight the existence of the place all rest on a single record. Adding a place to the open map is what turns one of these into the other — it takes about two minutes.
