Questions
How far is the Dorset Trail?+
211.4 km, measured from where Route 410 leaves the Trans-Canada, north through Baie Verte to Fleur de Lys, back to Route 414, then out to Pacquet and Tilt Cove and on to La Scie. Newfoundland and Labrador Tourism, which names the drive, gives about 300 km. The province does not say what its figure includes. This one-way page does not count the drive back down the peninsula.
Where does it start, and which way round?+
The province starts it on Route 410, and so does this page, at the Trans-Canada. It ends at La Scie. The province says it can be driven in reverse.
Do I have to go to Fleur de Lys first?+
No. Fleur de Lys is at the end of Route 410, so it costs an out-and-back whenever you do it. This page does it first, in the order the province describes.
