This page is generated from the open map — OpenStreetMap, and Overture where it adds to it — so nobody is picked for it and nobody can be put on it by asking us.   • Lewisporte Recreation ComplexBowater Avenue, the same street as the arena

    The Town lists a regulation size soccer pitch, two softball fields, tennis courts, basketball courts, a skate park, a running and walking track, a playground and a dog park, and says the Mussel Bed Soiree concert is held here.

    Not on the open map. OpenStreetMap holds no pitch, court, track, skate park, playground or dog park anywhere in Lewisporte. A query for every leisure value on 2026-09-15 returned five elements for the whole town.

  • Ski and snowshoe trailsBehind the recreation complex, and at Notre Dame Park

    The Town says there are more than 10 km of marked and groomed ski and snowshoe trails at nearby Notre Dame Park and a 2 km trail in town behind the recreation complex, and that trail passes are picked up at the Lewisporte Town Hall.

  • Winter Game Lanes14 Bowater Avenue

    The Town runs a six-lane five-pin bowling centre with an event room, and says it closes from the middle of May until September — which makes it a winter-season thing in a town whose rink runs the same months.

    5–9 August 2027 expected — that is where it has fallen each year we have seen it. Confirm with Town of Lewisporte before you travel.

    The town's festival, which the Town says has run for forty years. Held at the Lewisporte Recreation Complex on Bowater Avenue, the same street as the arena.

    Annually in September, over a Thursday to Saturday

    9–11 September 2027 expected — that is where it has fallen each year we have seen it. Confirm with Town of Lewisporte before you travel.

    The Town says over 80 exhibitors selling handmade crafts, woodworking, jewellery, paintings and home improvement. There is an admission charge, with weekend and daily passes; what it is this year is the Town's to publish, not ours to copy.

    Next in October. We have seen it once, which is not enough to say which day, so Town of Lewisporte is the only answer.

    Next in February. We have seen it once, which is not enough to say which day, so Town of Lewisporte is the only answer.

    The Town describes a multi-day festival of affordable winter activities. February is the middle of the rink season, so it lands in the same months a travelling hockey family is already in town.
